09 — UV-stable vinyl for vehicles and equipment
We manufacture outdoor decals and fleet graphics for vehicles, farm and construction equipment, and any product that spends its working life exposed to sun and rain. Everything about an outdoor decal is a durability decision — the film, the ink, the laminate and the adhesive all have to survive the same years of UV, heat cycling and washing.
Overview
Outdoor decals are self-adhesive vinyl graphics specified for permanent exterior exposure. They are built differently from indoor labels: cast or calendered vinyl instead of paper, UV-stable pigments instead of standard inks, and an over-laminate that takes the abrasion and weathering so the printed layer does not.
Film choice follows the surface. Flat panels take economical calendered vinyl. Compound curves, corrugations and rivets need conformable cast film that will relax into the shape and stay there instead of tenting and lifting at the edges.

How long will an outdoor decal last?
Service life depends on the film grade, the ink system and how much direct sun the surface takes. Tell us the application and expected life and we will specify a construction to match rather than over- or under-building it.
Cast or calendered vinyl — what is the difference?
Calendered vinyl is cost-effective and ideal for flat and gently curved panels. Cast vinyl is thinner and dimensionally stable, so it conforms to compound curves and rivets without shrinking back or lifting at the edges.
