Questions
SS 304 or SS 316 — which should I specify?
SS 304 covers most indoor and general outdoor use. Specify SS 316 for marine, coastal or chemical-process environments, where its added molybdenum gives markedly better pitting resistance against chlorides.
Etched or printed?
Etching cuts the legend into the metal and infills it, so it survives abrasion and solvents — the right choice for rating plates. Printing gives you full colour and is better for brand-facing plates in protected positions.
